Home at last :D

Well, as much fun as the forum was, I can truly say that I am very, very glad to be home. After learning so much and meeting so many new people, many of whom I consider good friends now, I am looking forward to a time of reflection and relaxation. I hope everyone had a safe trip home, and that all the NYLF students had as much fun at the forum as I did. And out of all the things that I learned, I am going to post just this one: I really, REALLY, do not want to have a career in software (lol).

Thanks ...

The 90 minutes with all of you in the computer room was a lot of fun. I have more respect for teachers and the job they do an a daily bases :-)

Thanks for all the interesting Good To Know links and stories that I would not have stumbled upon without your posts:

I created this blog to give you first hand experience in how easy it is to express yourself. This is your Blog now. Use it to share what you find Good to Know with your fellow NYLF students and the world.

Don't forget how fortunate you are that you could take part in this 10 day event. Give some of that fortune back. Think about how you can share the things you learned with others. Let us know about your efforts here.

special thanks to Joe and Rat who came up afterwords and personally thanked me. Made my day :-)

Happy 4th of July, Mark.

P.S. If you want to be added to the contributor list of this NYLF Good To Know Blog send me an email to markfinnern [at] yahoo [dot] com.

P.P.S. The replacement suggestion of the spell checker for markfinnern is marzipan. How nice is that?
